Deputy Fire Marshal Steven Hatchett is a Bomb Technician with the Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office. His K-9 partner, Cecilia ("CC") is a three year old, ATF trained, Black Labrador. K-9 Cecilia has been in service as an Explosives Detection K-9 since March of 2006. Since being placed in service, K-9 Cecilia has participated in providing security at several NASCAR races, as well as numerous local assignments. K-9 Cecilia is Deputy Hatchett's third K-9 partner. K-9 Gilda, Deputy Hatchett's second partner still accompanies her replacement and doesn't realize she is retired. Deputy Hatchett has been in law enforcement for 27 years. His first seven years were as a Baltimore City Police Officer. He is a Bomb Technician, Certified Fire Investigator, and on the Board of Directors of the MD/DC Chapter of the IAAI.
